Inner Sanctuary Journalling Workshop July 19th 7pm

£12.00

Spend a wonderfully mindful evening, winding down after a long week.

We begin with some gentle movement and breathwork to release out any tension and knots, bringing a sense of calm to your mind and nervous system. A guided meditation, deepens your connection to self and will help you respond to the themes in the journalling exercises. This month we are looking at boldness and how we can move into our Divine Feminine.

Availability: 3 in stock

Journaling is a wonderful way for you to release stress, anxiety and tension. It is your processing method when confusion and fogginess strike. And it is your voice when you feel as though you are shouting into the void with nobody really hearing you.

It can be your very own way of making sense of not only the world around you but of yourself too. Our words have a wonderful way of spilling out from our subconscious when we allow them to. Thoughts that we might not otherwise know how to articulate if we were trying to say them to another person without getting this clarity beforehand.

For me, I began to journal as a way of getting all the things that felt heavy, burdensome and frustrating out of my head and onto a piece of paper. I had read about a process in a book, which I discovered by happy accident, called the artist’s way by Julia Cameron. Initially I used journalling to help me do a bit of mental decluttering, making space for ideas and creativity. Putting it down in black and white allowed me to see exactly what was going on. And when you try it too, you may well surprise yourself at what actually comes out of your subconscious. There are thoughts that are ticking away in the back of your brain desperate to be acknowledged. Your genuine, real desires, the things that are holding you back, your strengths, your fears, your limiting beliefs.

Journalling has helped me to become who I truly wanted to be, an author and a poet.

There are many different ways to journal, and many different reasons. On this workshop we shall explore the Lioness of Leo season and how we can be bold without being pushy. We’ll also look at what the Divine Feminine is and how we can improve our connection with her through journalling.

Bad spelling, poor grammar and no idea about punctuation are also welcomed in with open arms and a complete absence of judgement.

All you need to bring along is a journal/notebook, a pen or pencil and an open mind.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

I am looking forward so much to welcoming you here.

Workshop Venue: Growth and Gratitude Studio, 6 Grange Dr, Hoghton, Preston PR5 0LP

Times: 7-8.30pm
