Pilates is a mode of exercise that is incredibly adaptable and versatile, available to practically everybody at a level that suits your fitness and your experience. I make sure that in every class you have worked from your top to your toes – quite literally. Make it a regular habit and you’ll feel amazing. Most of the movements we do relate to everyday life, making your day-to-day living better and easier. Exercise should be fun and functional.
When we’re online together expect to feel like you’re in a real class. I’ll guide you, demonstrate, give top tips on how to make exercises work better for you and talk to you as though we’re in the same room. It’s much more realistic than many classes out there, I work hard and it shows.
Did you know that just 20 minutes of exercise every day can strengthen your heart and lungs, reduce cholesterol, improve your mood and focus and reduce your risk of developing many diseases. That’s why my Fit and Flow classes are short and effective, meaning you can fit them into your busy lifestyle. Look out for the app coming soon!
And now for the important but boring bit.
I have a level 3 diploma in teaching Pilates along with specialist qualifications in Spinal conditions, Pelvic Dysfunction, Scoliosis, Antenatal exercise, Post-natal exercise, Shoulder Dysfunction, Breast Cancer – post surgery exercise and Pilates apparatus, and additional training in barre, foot and leg function, osteoporosis and small apparatus. With online classes, whilst I make every effort to instruct you are best I can, it is your responsibility to make sure that you are safe and exercising appropriately for your body, that is why we insist on you reading and signing a liability waiver and checking with your health care provider that this is safe and appropriate for you to do.
